Heading To An Undisclosed Location

No, not Dick Cheney.

After a year and a half of steady work, I'm finally going to take a vacation. And while I don't have a big ranch on which to cut brush, or a friend to take into the woods and shoot in the face, I can still make do with a visit to my old home state of Washington. It's a beautiful place for those who've never tread there before. I last went up three summers ago for a week of camping in the Olympic National Forest. Here's a sample...

This time, I'll be taking the family to the other side of the state to stay with and visit some family.

I won't be online for about a week or so. My family is great, but when it comes to computers and modern technology, they make the Geico caveman look like Einstein. But really, that's just fine with me. After all, part of 'getting away from it all' has to include taking a Common Sense break too.

See you all around the Easter weekend. Be good to each other.

The Circumstances of the world are continually changing, and the opinions of men also; and as Government is for the living, and not for the dead, it is the living only that has any right in it. That which may be thought right and found convenient in one age may be thought wrong and inconvenient in another. In such cases, Who is to decide, the living or the dead?
